This fund is aiming to provide inflation-beating income in a unique way - by combining its Singapore multi-asset expertise with its proven AI capability.
Over the next few years, investors will likely gravitate towards income-generating assets that can help compensate for expected higher-for-longer inflation. These include income derived from equities, real estate investment trusts (REITs), bonds and money market instruments.
The United SG Dynamic Income Fund (the “Fund”) takes investors’ need for income seriously by investing in a mix of income-paying Singapore-based asset classes. As a financial hub, Singapore offers a wide range of income and dividend-paying investment opportunities.
The Fund uses a dynamic process to allocate across the above asset classes in a way that achieves optimal diversification and income generation. This process is based on UOBAM’s proven artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, allowing for the fund’s asset allocation to be determined monthly. Meanwhile, the security selection is conducted by managers who are expert Singapore stock and bond-pickers.
Below, Paul Ho, Senior Director of Asia Equities chats with Roger Leng, Director of Intermediary Sales, about the Fund’s Singapore multi-asset strategy, and how its AI-driven asset allocation process is able to deliver better performance.
