LEE Wai Fai
Chairman, UOB Asset Management
Senior Advisor, UOB

Mr Lee joined UOB in 1989 and is presently Senior Advisor with UOB after having stepped down from his Group CFO position in April 2025. He has previously held senior positions in the UOB group, including being head of international branches and regional banking subsidiaries, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of UOB Radanasin Bank Public Company Limited, Head of Finance as well as Head of Policy and Planning of UOB.

Mr Lee holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) degree from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration degree in Banking and Finance from the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, and has more than 35 years of experience in the banking sector.

THIO Boon Kiat
Group Chief Executive Officer, UOBAM

Boon Kiat brings nearly 34 years of investment management experience and has served as Group CEO of UOB Asset Management (UOBAM) since 2011, following his earlier role as Chief Investment Officer.

He has led UOBAM to become one of ASEAN's leading asset managers, with a strong presence across Asia, including Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan and Taiwan. The firm has more than doubled the industry's growth rate across its markets and received over 380 awards from institutions such as Morningstar, LSEG and Asia Asset Management - including Best Asset Management House in Asia (20 years) in 2023, and most recently, Best Regional Asset Management Company (2025).

The firm’s regional growth reflects Boon Kiat’s leadership in strategic innovation and market-driven solutions. Notable achievements include Taiwan's first high dividend recovery stock ETF, which quickly ranked second in performance; Malaysia's first India-focused fixed income fund; and accelerating AUM growth in Thailand through CIO Funds and Fixed Maturity Plans. UOBAM also gained market share in Indonesia's fixed income and index segments, and expanded ESG investing in Vietnam with strong AUM growth.

A passionate advocate for digitalisation and sustainable investing, Boon Kiat has driven UOBAM's digital transformation, leading innovations such as UOBAM Invest, Asia’s first corporate robo-advisory platform. Demonstrating strong foresight, he also initiated the development of AI-augmented investment capabilities. These innovations have earned multiple awards, including Best Robo-Advisory Initiative (2022 - 2024), Best AI Initiative (2024) and Best Innovative use of Technology (2025).

He also strengthened the firm's ESG positioning, with UOBAM becoming one of the first asset managers in Asia to sign the United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Investment. The firm has since received prestigious ESG accolades, including Best ESG Manager in ASEAN and Brunei in 2024.

Beyond UOBAM, Boon Kiat has also served as Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS) Treasurer from 2013 to 2019, and an EXCO member from 2006 to 2019.

Boon Kiat graduated from the National University of Singapore with Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), First Class Honours, in 1988.

CHONG Jiun Yeh
Group Chief Investment Officer, UOBAM

As Chief Investment Officer of UOB Asset Management, Jiun Yeh leads the investment team in developing the firm’s long-term investment strategy and in managing asset allocation with the objective to maximise the value of investments in assets for our investors. He has oversight for the teams managing Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, including spearheading the firm’s strategic thrusts in sustainable investing and investment technology.

Under Jiun Yeh’s leadership, UOBAM was ranked as one of the top investment houses in Asian G3 bonds, and Asian local currency bonds in Singapore and Thailand respectively at The Asset 2019 Benchmark Research Awards. Over the years, UOBAM has won prestigious awards such as ‘Best Asia Fixed Income House Singapore 2018’ from International Finance Awards and ‘Best Fixed Income Fund House’ at the Morningstar Awards 2017.

Prior to joining UOBAM in 2008, Jiun Yeh was the Managing Director (Fund Management) and Co-Head of Portfolio Management for ST Asset Management (STAM), a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings. Before that, he was Head of Fixed Income and Currencies at OUB Asset Management. He has vast experience in managing equities, fixed income and structured investment portfolios, including emerging market local currencies debts, G7 FX overlays as well as Asia-Pacific equities.

Jiun Yeh graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Estate Management) (Second Upper Honours) degree from the National University of Singapore.

Rachel ONG
Chief Marketing Officer, UOBAM

Rachel has over 26 years of experience in the financial industry and has held key roles at UOB Asset Management (UOBAM) for the past 20 years since joining the firm in 2005, where she has been actively involved in distribution businesses across Asia, playing a key role in supporting UOBAM’s regional expansion efforts. She was appointed Chief Marketing Officer for Singapore in 2022, overseeing the retail, institutional and digital sales teams, and leading product development and marketing.

She has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s digital business and strategic partnerships. In 2018, she launched Singapore’s first corporate robo adviser, UOBAM Invest, followed by the mobile app in 2020 to broaden investor access to UOBAM’s investment capabilities. As Head of Digital Business, she led the digital team to four consecutive wins for Best Robo advisory Initiative at The Digital Banker’s Global Retail Banking Innovation Awards from 2022 to 2025.

Prior to joining UOBAM, Rachel provided wealth management advisory to retail and high net worth clients at both local and international banks, including OCBC and ABN AMRO. She holds a bachelor’s degree majoring in Economics and Statistics.

Varun RALLY
Group Chief Information Officer, UOBAM

As the Group Chief Information Officer at UOB Asset Management (UOBAM), Varun Rally is responsible for defining and implementing the overall Group Technology Strategy. With more than 20 years of hands-on experience, he has a strong understanding of Technology and Capital Markets Business. He specialises in high-performance, low latency applications and has extensive expertise in architecting solutions for Front Office Capital Markets. He is a technologist with a keen interest in Blockchain, AI & Machine Learning, and Data Science.

Prior to joining UOBAM, Varun led innovation in the Blockchain & Digital Assets Custody space for UOB, participating in MAS-driven projects like Project Orchid. During his tenure at Commerzbank, he developed an in-house sub millisecond latency Algorithmic Trading System used globally by the bank.

He is dedicated to mentoring talent and advancing the organization's technology capabilities. He firmly believes in technology implementations that deliver real business value.

Varun holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications from the Kurukshetra University, India, where he was a University Topper.

Kamal MUHD
General Manager, UOBAM (Brunei)

Kamal graduated with an honours degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. In 2007, he joined UOB Asset Management (UOBAM) Brunei as the General Manager, stepping into a role. His primary responsibilities encompass overseeing the local business, initiating innovative product structuring, and developing impactful investment solutions for institutional clients.

Since 2007, Kamal has been a driving force behind the growth of UOBAM Brunei, proactively identifying and nurturing opportunities with clients and prospects.

Before his impactful journey at UOBAM Brunei, Kamal was the Investment Head at Brunei’s National Employees Provident Fund, where he expertly managed external fund management and overall investments. With over 25 years of diverse experience, Kamal exemplifies a commitment to leadership and excellence, particularly in business development and investment advisory. His expertise significantly contributes to the success of his current role.

Widrawan Hindrawan
Chief Executive Officer, PT UOB Asset Management Indonesia

Widrawan is Chief Executive Officer of UOBAM’s Indonesia subsidiary since 2025. He has been leading segment-specific business initiatives, formulating consumer commercial business strategies, and coordinating with all divisions to leverage new opportunities to achieve the company's targets. With over 22 years of experience in financial industry, Widrawan joined UOBAMI in 2022 as Chief Marketing Officer and subsequently taking on the role as Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining UOBAM Indonesia, Widrawan held several prominent positions in Consumer Banking and Global Market divisions. These includes Head of Structuring Sales in Citibank Global Market, Head of Wealth Management at PT Bank DBS Indonesia, and Group Head Segmentation, Strategy & Quality Assurance at PT Maybank Indonesia, where he was responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth.

Widrawan holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Banking from the San Francisco State University. He also possesses an Investment Manager Representative license from the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

Shigeo NOMURA
Chief Executive Officer and Representing Director, UOBAM (Japan)

Shigeo Nomura is the Representing Director & CEO of UOB Asset Management Japan (UOBAMJ). He joined UOBAMJ in March 2024, bringing over 31 years of industry experience. He currently oversees business development in Japan. Prior to Joining UOAMJ he served as the Representative Director & President for AMP Capital Investors Japan. Nomura has held various roles at several financial institutions, including as an equity fund manager and analyst at Amundi Japan, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, in addition as an investment banking consultant at Mizuho Securities.

Nomura holds an MBA from Bond University (Australia), a master’s degree in human science at Nihon University, and a bachelor’s degree in economics at Kwansei Gakuin University. He is also a holder of both CMA and CIIA certifications.

LIM Suet Ling
Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer

Suet Ling graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) from University of Singapore in 1989 and is also a chartered financial analyst.

Suet Ling has more than 30 years of experience in the industry and has particular in Malaysian and Asia ex-Japan equities. She has held senior positions including Malaysia equity team head of UOB Asset Management Ltd and portfolio manager regional funds in both Malaysia and Singapore.

Besides, growing the business in Malaysia, Suet ling also oversees regional working together with UOBAM regional offices (Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam) in offering new product ideas and collaboration with new partners.

She is also a board member of The Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia and holds a Capital Markets and Services Representative's Licence (CMSRL) regulated activity of fund management.

Suhazi Reza SELAMAT
Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer, UOB Islamic Asset Management

Reza brings over 25 years of investment and financial-markets experience acrossand asset management sectors. He began his career in the Treasury Divisionfinancial institution, where he managed a broad range of financial instruments,foreign exchange and derivatives across both proprietary trading and corporateHe transitioned into the asset management industry in 2002, assuming spanning sales, marketing, distribution, training, and product development.

He was based in the Middle East in 2008 and 2009 to develop the Middle Easterna Malaysian Asset Management outfit and specialised in Islamic Asset Management2010.

In 2008 and 2009, he was based in the Middle East to expand regional businessfor a Malaysian asset management firm, further deepening his exposure to Since 2010, he has specialised in Islamic asset management, strengtheningShariah-compliant investment strategies. Reza joined UOB Islamic Asset 2017, where he shaped the firm's capabilities and establishing it as the Centre of Excellence within the UOB Asset Management Group.

He holds an MBA with a specialisation in Islamic Finance from the University of Malaya and a Bachelor of Commerce from La Trobe University, Melbourne. Reza has been licensed by the Securities Commission Malaysia as a Capital Markets and Services Respresentative (CMSRL) for fund management since 2011 and has been a Shariah Registered Financial Planner with the Malaysia Financial Planning Council (MFPC) since 2019.

William WANG
Chief Executive Officer, UOBAM (Taiwan)

As Chief Executive Officer of UOBAM (Taiwan), William is responsible for the overall management and growth of UOBAM's business in Taiwan. Under his leadership, UOBAM (Taiwan) became the first fully foreign-owned fund management company to obtain a SITE licence since 2001.

William joined UOBAM (Taiwan) in 2011 and has more than 17 years of experience in the insurance and asset management industry. He is also a member of UOBAM (Taiwan) Board. He was previously Deputy General Manager of Fidelity International Securities, where he led and managed the intermediary business that accounted for more than 85% of Fidelity Taiwan's business.

William has a Master of Business Administration from St. Louis University. He has served as a co-chair of the Asset Management committee of the American Chamber of Commerce and was also a director of Security Investment Trust & Consulting Association of the ROC (SITCA).

Vana BULBON
Chief Executive Officer, UOBAM (Thailand)

Vana is the Chief Executive Officer of UOB Asset Management (UOBAM) Thailand and has played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s position as a leading regional asset manager in Thailand. Under his leadership, UOBAM (Thailand) has provided full range of investment services for Private Fund, Provident Fund, and Mutual Fund serving both retail and institutional investors.

Prior to joining UOBAM (Thailand), Vana was the Deputy Director of Investment at Investment CPB Equity Co. Ltd. in Thailand. He also served as an Investment Portfolio Manager at Prudential Portfolio Managers Asia in Singapore. His earlier professional experience includes roles at Thai Investment and Securities Co. Ltd. and Thai Capital Management Co. Ltd., where he gained extensive expertise in equity investment and asset management.

Vana holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from San Diego State University, California, USA, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

THIEU Thi Nhat Le
Chief Executive Officer, UOB Asset Management (Vietnam)

Le is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UOBAM’s Vietnam subsidiary and has been instrumental in spearheading the business expansion in Vietnam. Under her leadership, the Vietnam office has emerged as a widely recognised fund management company in Vietnam within 3 years entering the market.

Le joined UOBAM in 2021 and has more than 18 years of experience in the asset management industry in Vietnam, including 10 years in top executive positions at Vietnam Asset Management Ltd. (VAM) and VAM Vietnam Fund Management JSC. (VAM Vietnam) where she was Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer for four years before appointed Chief Executive Officer since 2015.

Le holds a Master of Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands and a Bachelor of English Literature and Linguistics from Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities. She is a licensed fund manager in Vietnam.
