No. The advisory fee payable by the client covers almost all execution commissions (sales charge for unit trusts and brokerage for ETFs) and the only transaction related charge that is not priced into the advisory fee is the SEC fee. This fee is only applicable when there is a sale of US-listed exchange traded funds (ETF).
The SEC fee is chargeable only when the Digital Adviser sells a US-listed ETF. The current SEC fee rate is 0.00221% of the value sold and subject to change from time to time without notice. Please refer to the SEC website for latest updates. The SEC fee will be deducted directly from the sales proceeds of a US-listed ETF sale.
Withholding tax is applied at 30% for dividends arising from US-listed exchange traded funds (ETFs) owned through a Digital Adviser account.
Unless the client qualifies as GST-exempted, GST is payable on all fees in relation to transactions and services offered through UOBAM Invest.
